It was never going to be easy
living life in a dream
a life of transmission
lead through a stream

Touching, each other
with secrets and words
feelings on flesh
that we, only heard

Sharing the breadth amidst
thought intertwined
we came in the center
between all the lines

Our home in the grayness
betwixt black and white
we’d couple in dream
until we took flight

Finding ourselves
a promise unbroken
tethered by oath
that need not be spoken

Afar from together
but never alone
through all the years
endearment now grown

The closer we are
the farther it feels
eyes full of waves
are hard to conceal

Yes we’ll be ever
these oceans apart
a story of endings
that never will start

You are the heart
and the swell of the sea
paint the land soft,
your blue unto me

Richy dear heart, there is so much to love about this little gem of a poem, the shade of blue is gorgeous but it is the words I got wrapped up in.
It is so vibrant and clear, made me want to breathe in every verse...and made my eyes water to.

Richy,

I love every word of this poem. I am not overly fond of pictures with poetry (funny, huh, because I use them so often) - because sometimes the pictures are a distraction to me. This picture is perfect - it intrigues me and your poem partners with it perfectly. Love this poem.

Love these lines -
