GREYGREEN RAIN DREAMS
15 September 2012

grey clouds embracing
leaves shining a zillion greens
soaked earth’s sweet perfume

This reminds me of picking raspberries hidden in the Alder patches when it rained.  I loved the smell and I loved the sound of the rain on the leaves.

Oh, Alison, I am SO glad it brought you such a beautiful memory.  I can picture you with the 5 darling dogalogs in tow, as you pick the raspberries.  Thanks for living my poem as you did and for painting poetic pictures, even in your prose replies.

Yann, yes it is Spring here with promises of a warm and glorious Summer.  Your Autumn there, though the skies are crying mourning tears at the passing of the Summer and preparing a path for the dying of the seasons in Winter, Winter, there, is the time for Life to rest and sleep and rejuvenate itself so that it is ready to herald renewal in the birth of Spring.  Thanks for enjoying my poem.
