Here I Am - a note from Him

Can you hear Me? Here I am, by your side,
in your thoughts, and in your heart riding
along with you, My love of you forever wide
and from Me, child, you cannot hide.

No, I’m not the daunting form I seem to take
just because My silent words seem to quake
the substance below you ~ you’ll not fall;
...just nod your head, yes, you’ve heard My call.

I see here now, as I look inside your soul
that your heart seems weary, yes, I’ve given it a toll
and you have not given this burden back to Me;
well now of course you’re weary, and why I can see.

What have I spoken about in the past?
I can give you healing that will last,
all you need do is give back to Me
the love I’ve given you, don’t you see?

Now, I’ll not chastise, for it’s only purely human
to want to deal with your problems through acumen
but for My sake, as well as for yours, dear child
come to Me with the problems, either raving or mild.

I won’t guarantee a quick fix, rather a lifting of heart
so take those selfish burdens from life’s cart
and place them for safe-keeping here in My hands
then go on to enhance life’s greater demands.

Can you hear Me? Here I am, by your side,
in your thoughts, and in your heart riding
along with you, My love of you forever wide
and from Me, child, you cannot hide.

I don't think I've ever been so glad to read a repost... or had one timed more perfectly. Thefts at the farm have me feeling violated, sad... and more than a little lost... I know they can't take the memories, but when they take Daddy's things, the missing wells to the surface and takes over. But I'm at work and crying just won't do... so I opened PIP... and here is this.

It is such a beautiful poem... and today? It's a blessing greatly needed. Thank you!

He most certainly uses us in ways we could never even guess at, Ruth. My heart hurts for and with you...any kind of personal violation such as you have been handed is despicable, but you are a strong woman, and will come through all the stronger for the ordeal.

Strange that you took this day to repost this, Karilea, because you know what has also happened this day with me. Good advice given, although we try to not accept that good advice as might we should, continuing to press onward into our pain and trouble. I liked this.
