The Earth grew silent as the slim Palm Trees swayed
in the breeze, by the tossed sea's wheeze
phased, out of date and dazed

the ship slipped silently unfit and unnoticed
as passer-byes
amazed

"the ship slipped silently unfit and unnoticed"

For some reason this line makes me think of the book I am reading about the Hungarian Revolution back in the fifties, among other things. The words just fit the student unrest during that era.

Hey good to read you martini man~

Liked your analogy here, as the sea is my muse, and it's not always smooth sailing.
