Windy Evening

My heart void of reason
collecting windy evening
thoughts of you…

Thoughts fluttering like leaves
shimmering with sunsets gleam –

warm and glowing sleepy smile
simply asking:
‘will tonight bring dreams of you’?

And swirls of wind push about
conducting well-chosen inner smiles –
hard kept secretes,
enouncing evermore ardent and clear
you and I…

Evening thoughts trying desperately
to escape and fly;
Yet my heart at rest,
no matter how the wind may blow,
I’ll be
hoping joy at your side,
praying peace be your friend,
wishing you too,
an evening of repose…

.
.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself.
Maranatha!

Lovely thoughts, trying to nudge the dreams your way. Hopefully they were listening, JL.

A soft and pleasant poem.I "love soft and pretty" instead of love songs that bemoan the hurt. Thanks.Enjoyed.
