Her heart sufficed the winter conversation
the way he told her it was a long afternoon
for the children under the long sheltered moon

He took her eyes off the kitchen island
mantle off marble
the southern side of her lips
off the suns deep shadow

He use to talk to her
about the love of literary prose
the challenge of a man
that drove through the village
to see the country road

She, lips of slender
fending off her thoughts
for the curvature of her mouth
as she watched under the the muse of the moon

Heart of a shadow
the widow
that peered through the window
with her eyes taken by the empty streets
off her balconies window

You write in living color and create the most crystal clear images and emotions.

Lovely poem, Tomer~
