I watched her eyes soften
like the tangerines
that dreamed of trees
below their plum, orange hues

I use to wonder if the only man
that could be me, such at ease
was a shadow amongst the highway roads
where the street lights
raced across miles of the Southwest fold

Those soft eyes
where the locusts swarmed
along the maple forests
of the western wind

Her eyes
on my cheeks
dipped between
the eyelashes and curly hair
that sat just beside her

Those eyes
if silence had no name
and time had no shame
there would be a small piece of me
across the lace of her neck

Can litterally feel how her soft eyes make you melt.
You combine so many elements in your poetry, it's easy to get lost in your words.

Brava Tomer, once again!!
