Suicidal Girl: A Cutter

‘All I have are Tears’
I heard you crying,
I heard you asking,
‘Can anyone hear me?’
I saw your scribbled scars,
and heard your pleading blood,
‘Can anyone see me?’

And all I have are tears.
My heart utterly broken,
and you will never know
or feel my arms around you,
or know the pain
of loving thoughts for you.
The thoughts are there,
just not very well spoken…

I heard you crying,
I heard you asking,
‘Can anyone hear me?’

Is it too late to say
I love you?

Your time passes in sullen
short breaths of moments,
waiting for caring eyes
and caring voices?

I saw your scribbled scars,
and heard your pleading blood,
‘Can anyone see me?’

Now all that I have are tears.
My heart utterly broken,
and you will never know
or feel my arms around you,
nor be aware of the pain
of love in loving thoughts for you.

The thoughts are there,
just not very well spoken.
I heard you crying,
I heard you asking,
‘Can anyone hear me?’
You ripped through a vein
You bled loosing your mind
You had no intent for you
No one could give you the time
No words to say: ‘you will be fine.’
You had no reason to live
to take or to give.

Beautiful you…

Now a dove of great power
hangs about your neck –
love given from God to you
for sharing your knowledge in prayer
with others.

So He heard your crying,
and saw your tears hitting the floor.
He was there with you waiting
For you to answer His gentle knocking
at your heart’s door.

He took you in His arms
And whispered to your heart:
He would never leave you
or forsake you.

For this reason, for this day,
for you, and me, and others,
He was nailed to a cross
He died, He was buried.
Then He arose to life
showing us the way,
giving all who take the time to listen
a new truth –
We live forever…
.
.
.

I am not even sure how or why I ended up on this web page.
I don’t know this girl, but after watching her video I was absolutely crushed.

He sent you there,
in order that you might write this.

He works in such wonderful ways....

and I thank you....

I haven't looked at the link, I cannot, you depict it too well....

and truthfully, JL, I do not know if this will be flagged for a pull...I hope not. You wrote nothing wrong in my opinion, but some might think that the link would push guidelines....

but in my opinion, and this is just that, you came, you saw, you wrote, you left others [without a need to view] in mindset of just how our children are suffering.

Thank you.

I became enmeshed with a girl once who was a cutter. Horrible, horrible way to look at yourself and horrible thing to do. It is much more wide spread than people think. Your poem is very touching, JL.

JL- I'm glad you went there...I can't.  If it crushed you it would totally demolish me.
God bless your heart for writing this. Your heart is showing.

Thank you Sunshine.  If it is “Pulled” then it is.
I appreciate your concern and your reply.

------------------------------------------
Jerry, how did you ever get past that?  Such deep, deep depression.  I hope she is doing better.  Thank you for reading and your reply.

Lori, I hear you.  It was tough to get through the entire video.
Thank you for taking the time to read.

Known a few sucides ... met a few with scars as depicted herein...old ones though... and "heresay" from friends has given me a number of other "visions".

My heart says bleed for them.

My mind says they have problems between the ears.

And to see cruelty enacted by others, or upon themselves, just plain makes me mad!

Then I remember how fortunate I am to have a certain amount of sanity where-by I can see things that way, know they (the en-actors) are not right, and feel some compassion for them... and realize, we are all, ever, just a step away from being them ourselves, circumstantially.

How blessed we are.
