The snow fell harder that evening
December had raged its skin
onto the placid thin, covered road

Hearts grew weary
seasons came and went
but the snow fell
as the sight, like thought
became reason
to forget a heavy shadow
that lingered past the alley-ways
and mile long parking lots

December,
slightly shy at first
powdered the streets
with a thin layer,

Evenly immersed,
as if a kings crown
had touched the flat plains
with its grace
for a place to dine with the wind
and bury its snowfall
along the towns farm acre land.

This infused me with the perfection of its pondering and its binding of years into a moment, and the fusing of miles and miles into this secret, sacred spot.
