v1
You are my favorite book to read
A story of love and of grace
A story more real than I could imagine
In every curve of your face

I write myself into every line
especially the ones where there's
mountains to climb
The ones where life's desert
has left you alone
My heart pens the words
that turn the hurt into home

Chorus
I paint pictures of blessing in your chapters of pain
I get so excited when you stand up again
But the best part of all has yet to be written
mem 'ries  still waiting to be made in the living

Pages unblemished, magic unwritten
Of everything our love will leave
so when we go to heaven, our children will have
a favorite book to read.

v2
I promise that I will be true to the end
no matter how hard or how far
Cause you're more than a lover, more than a friend
You are the key to my heart

I'll rewrite your heartache into sweet melodies
And play you the music in you that I see
And the times when you dont think your worth anything
I'll wear out the pages to remind you again.

Chorus
Of the pictures of blessing in your chapters of pain
How I get so excited when you stand up again
And that the best part of all has yet to be written
mem 'ries  still waiting
to be made in the living

Of  all the pages unblemished, faith still  to believe
Of everything our love will leave
so when we go to heaven, our children will have
a favorite book to read.

bridge
you didnt say a word
when someone caused you to fall
you kept making love
out of nothing at all
Girl, you've put yourself second for the very last time
So I"m beggin your pardon
while I pen the next line.

2nd chorus
We can never be certain what tomorrow will bring
But in all of life's mysteries, I'm sure of one thing
That the best part of living is holding your hand
while our heavenly Father worked out His plan

His words and His hands are holding all of our lives
And when I need Him close I'll just look in your eyes
No matter how worn and tattered these pages might be
It is forever and always my favorite book to read.

Sometimes 'love' is a word spoken... sometimes it is evident in every action. This is absolutely beautiful!!!
