~.~

Like a satin weave
draped in love and luxury
the sun sets in pale rosewood
shale blue clouds
float and dip
skirting the blue reefs
as the breeze
spins the twilight
in faded silks
breathing a still breath
as seen through chiffon
on a reflective pool
whispers a calypso
blowing in the night
like diamonds
sparkle in the sky.

~.~

The music, rather the calypso has these verses and are a wonder to behold. Such a physicality caste system to represent us.

"breathing a still breath
as seen through chiffon"

Very nicely done, my friend, really liked the calypso effect,  and wish I had thought of those two lines...

The voice I hear in your wonderful poem reminds me
of a Narrator introducing a long anticipated movie of a true and fascinating love story...
Enjoyed,

So relaxing, soft, and sweet.  Beautifully written poetry, Blues.

(I think if I were a kid this would be the definition of cotton candy –
absolutely yummy).

What a serene and beautiful picture you have painted here, Blues. I think I will just dig my toes into the sand and enjoy it for a while.

You are looking good, Lor. You must have the most wonderful views on the west coast. I always wished to see them for real one day.

Hope all is well. And if you are ever in the east...
