silence
is an autumn leaf ~
gold tinted
an after-colour
of an evening sun
fading
on the other side
of the ocean

dropping
relieving itself
off its tree tip
like a young bird
outgrowing mother’s nest
taking on the world
tentatively first
fiercely, the day after
a rustler first
snakelike predator, the day after

after the storm
comes peace often
after the word wars
comes silent
contemplation

Welcome to Pip, TreasureFort.

In silent contemplation we find the answers ...

This is a beautiful first offering.
