when I thought it was time
to take a giant move
into this different world
different, but the rent was the same
I picked up my foot
tried to sit it down with complete resolve
failed that first step
I had not understood
that, although I had changed
had come to terms with myself
the world hadn't synchronized with me

Excellent image to go with the dialogue...Well done!

Made me think of one of my favorite watches... "Mad Men"...

We think we have the bull by the horns...
and then we are engorged with life and reality....
