FLIGHT
23 August 2012

Here,
in my beloved study
at the magic hour,
I drink the breathing night,
with just the comforting tick
of the clock, a whispering metronome
to soften the silence
as I imbibe the slow-flavoured excellence
of poetry that finds my soul
and wings my spirit
and paints alive the canvas
of my imagination,
my dog at my feet
and my cat at my elbow.

Oh yes I hear you...isn't it wonderful to have such talented poets to read while letting our imagination open visions of beauty...You say it perfectly...*BIG HUGS*

*may our dreams ever be magical*

It's amazing when
a click of clock
can bring on the

Thank you, Karilea.  Yes, I find the tick of a clock so mesmerisingly peaceful - which is strange because I would have thought that a workaholic like me would be consumed by the sound of time escaping me.
