Uploaded with ImageShack.us

we ought to take some time
while specks of atoms crumble
and shadows begin to faintly
show themselves
now, at the beginning
of each new day
begins in the hoary light
of merciless march of time
that we need to take stock of who we are
after one more day on earth
there may be a feeling
even a mounting conviction
that there will come a day
where there will be nowhere to hide
we hope, of course
there will be a shadow
some precious clandestine lagoon
merely to conceal a hush-hush secret
or so . . . and . ..
maybe we might want to
reveal to the world order
that we just might know a lot more than
they give us credit for
. . . . . . .
anyway
. . . . . . .
as the pixels of paradoxical formation
grows around us
we become impatient, fidgety
for what we know will not go away

How I understand this, Jerry! There is nowhere to hide. It will come to us.

It's always high time to remember who we are ... then what's there to fear?

Very impressive and thought provoking.

Love this line, my friend.

"...there will be a shadow
some precious clandestine lagoon
merely to conceal a hush-hush secret
or so . . .

and totally agree with Margherita.

I, too watch the world with a shake of the head and soft mummers, sometimes growing into girlish-like shrieks at what mankind (man and kind, somehow, in this modern age just do not go together) is up to, but have given up on the body count. Thank you, Karen, always, for saying the right things . . .
