Quiero llorar contigo
el dolor del mundo
a la playa del mar.

Uniremos nuestras làgrimas
a la vastedad de las aguas
y nuestra oraciòn comùn
llegarà a Dios.

Con nuestras manos unidas
miramos el arco iris
que abraza el mundo.
El ciel nos contempla
mientras nosotros
contemplamos a El.

Cada làgrima
alivia el peso
de nuestros corazònes
y la vida nos parece nueva
y màs leve.

Quiero llorar contigo
el dolor del mundo
a la playa del mar.

I want to meet you
at the seashore
and weep together with you
over the world’s weariness.

We shall mingle our tears
with the vast blue waters
and our common prayer
will reach God.

Our fingers intertwined,
we admire the rainbow
embracing the world.
Heaven contemplates us
while we contemplate Him.

Every single tear
alleviates the heaviness
of our hearts
and life unfolds in new colors
and with greater lightness.

I want to meet you
at the seashore
and weep together with you
over the world’s weariness.

And there is much to weep over, Margherita, it is a sad world we are living in these days. Very good poetry and the subject is needed.

Thank you, dear Jerry, for appreciating this melancholic piece. Yes, unless we all awaken to Love and grow in the awareness that a change is possible if we all cooperate for the solutions to common problems, we might sink too deeply into the mud of carelessness and hatred to save our world and ourselves from falling apart.

Thank you, dear Karen, for relating to this and for commenting so kindly. I was inspired to write it for a wonderful person who fights depression and I felt like hugging her and weeping together. I wrote it in Spanish for it is her language.

Love,
Margherita

This is astoundingly beautiful, (pic and poem), especially considering it is a poem about weeping... But then He has that effect onn us, doesn't He?  Lovely write.

Thank you so much, dear Ruth, for capturing the sweetness of melancholy here and for telling me so.

Thank you, dear JL, for your most kind comment.

Dear Jimmy, thank you so much for your kind appreciation and for sharing your awareness of breathing.

Thank you, dear Michael, for your loving comment. Yes, mostly our tears are tears of longing for the conscious experience of Oneness with Him. So true.

Love to all,
Margherita
