my eyes are drawn to the evening stars
cicadas execute magical symphonies
I light candles setting a special mood
they flicker back unto the starry night
it's the end of the day and I am sated
There's a far off place on my mind
no one is there except you and I
my eyes are drawn to the evening stars
cicadas execute magical symphonies
in the heavens' its your face I seek
and when I see it I become weak

...how poignant night becomes when solitary is a soulmate's sigh.  I can hear the cicadas, and see venus sailing with the moon in this one.

Ah, Karen (another Karen) "...how poignant night becomes when solitary is a soulmate's sigh." That in itself is a profound statement, and I thank you for it.
