WANDERINGS AND WONDERINGS

In dreamy wanderings
through a year of yesterdays
where you were me
and I was you
and our minds
and hearts
and hands
conversed
in quiver-language
too high
too deep
too soft
too mellifluous
for sound,
I hear you whisper
yet again
that my eyes
were your ocean.
