Fair to middlin' of nowhere

I can tell it in your walk
and by the way you hold your shoulders
I can see it in your eyes
and by the way you rub your head
I can hear it in your voice
and by the way you say you feel

You are on a path I know well
It is fraught with black quicksand thoughts
that would take you down to despair
It has steep loose rock slopes
that would take you for a fall
It has indecision brambles
that tear at your every side
It is a path that spirals downward
that would unstopped bring demise

I suffer with you helplessly
as you wrestle with your fears
Knowing the frustration
of being held captive by
your own emotions
As I hold you close and say
everything will be okay

Tragic. Hopefully this is a temporary thing.

I assume so...He is already feeling better.   At least I've had plenty of experience with this. Everything will be okay
Thanks Jerry
