A smile that could kill a guy,
Happiness and honey oozes out
of his false and misleading facade,
Forever seeking to earn more clout.

Thick wads of dead, vandalised trees
lie rotting in the sweat of his underarm,
He stands by the water cooler smiling,
Luring you in, seeking you harm.

A master of the discourse and verse
found in the halls of london and DC,
Encouraging some, berating the many,
Annoying the blue collar his source of glee.

He strides between the hammer and the anvil,
Grunting with the force, sucking up to the board,
Both sides of the coin sparkling with polish,
Eternally wishing to climb above the horde.

His suckling and grovelling pay off
and he moves one link on the chain,
Smiling condescendingly as you toil
laughing at your misery and pain.

But when he is not looking, you giggle,
Having seen the burning face of the boss,
He stands alone taking the biggest hiding,
Those left behind snicker, his loss.

Nobody likes a yes man even a boss if he is a good one. The "yes man" is really fooling no one but himself and enjoys no respect from any one. Enjoyed, latearrival

What a great description of the yes man!
