I built my life around being with you
I feel like I was just a piece of yours

And I’m home with a cat and no plans.

I always thought that I was strong enough
To live and do things by myself
But without you, I feel invisible:
Friday night with a cat and no plans

I know you weren’t right for me

But for now, the tears fill the silence
Almost 30 with a cat and no plans

The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears.
