Within Moments

Although it appears
that I have failed
in love once again
I'm still who I was,
a man capable of
giving and receiving love,
a man not seeking
nor giving perfection,
a man that is constantly learning
from past and present experiences
to have more fulfilling relationships
within this very moment.

You really haven't "failed", my friend, you only getting a handle on all the idiosyncrasies of what works and what doesn't.

Stick with it and it will stick one day (besides it's fun testing the waters!!).

And that's so important... to realize that the relationship may have failed but you are not a failure. The road to happy endings is often a bumpy one... but as long as we keep trying, there's hope we'll make it there. *S* Great write!
