If I had a wish
It would be your kiss
To wake me every morning’s break
A touch from you to me
To set my spirit free
Like a dream while I am awake
And as I travel every mile
Inside I’d have a smile
What a difference it would make,
But it’s something I miss
Or something yet to exist
What a difference it would make.

Once a few decades past, I said I could write about any subject.
Recently someone reminded me of this, but said I didn’t write love poetry,
So I wrote this. Does this qualify?
