Love and Peace in a 'Multiverse'
        (Quantum Musings)

In this ever-lonely world,
where only relentless change
  is penultimate truth,
when the finger-tip mist
  and smoldering dusk
curl 'round the evening's
  hushed 'uncertainties'
and the ruin wrought
by the hands of men,
perhaps light and time
transform all that they touch
into multifarious silhouettes,
echoing forever ...
just beyond our grasp;
and, we 'awake' for just
  one fine moment
from the mystic trance of 'life',
(with lucid 'visions' in the
   epiphanous dark)
to wonder ...
if eternal 'love and peace'
  really might exist,
but only in some
  'other universe,'
(always unknown and
  unknowable)
spinning away in infinite
  'cosmic-arabesque,'
beyond the speed of light
where even 'time' has
  no meaning!

I have to say how great it feels to learn new words and meanings that open your visions bringing them to life while stimulating my mind...you are a master of words and I find myself always inspired by you...I do wonder if you share your gifted writings with your students that they may analyze them...I've been told that my writings would give professionals a hay day...*grin*...I believe in eternal love and peace...I think that we have to decide each day if we will love eternally and therefore share the peace of it with another...I am a romantic and always will be...magnificent writing...**BIG HUGS**

Your thoughts grow deeper and more beautiful with each new poem, Bruce.

In this "other" world, Bruce, where you wonder about actually sounds boring to me. I am all for "eternal 'love and peace'," but at the same time I have a strange feeling that if we were to find this place of eternal love and peace would it be all that we thought it would be? In other words, would be be eternally happy there? Living inside a world where there are no challenges, as I perceive this world to be, a world where everything is perfect and structurally faultless. I know we like to strive for love and peace, and I applaud that desire, but I believe I had rather strive for it, with all the obstacles and roadblocks to maneuver around, than to have a "perfect" world.

Dear Bruce, I love your "Quantum musings", this is an elegant, far reaching Universal poem.

Imagine the things we could do if we reached here and now a state of peace and love? We would be able to conquer the stars and no ... it wouldn't be boring at all! It's a work in progress!

That is your opinion, Margherita about being boring and I am sorry you felt the need to go on the attack, I was merely commenting on the poem from my own experience. I don't think I have attacked you in your comments, and I am sorry you did here. We can disagree, but to get personal is very hurtful. Therefore I will take back everything I said. You and Bruce are right and I'm the dunce.

My reply here is not an attack on anyone just my own reply.
I don't think there is anything boring about this concept at all.
If we live everlastingly we would be filled daily with the pleasure of studying the wisdom of our existence.

Excellent thoughts Bruce!

I apologize, Margherita, I kinda let my thoughts get ahead of my fingers. Still wonder about the concept of life being so perfect, but I could have worded it differently.

Perhaps such a world is within ourselves, Bruce and we just need to learn how to find it. Your poetry makes it all seem possible.
