.

You little cliche, you
chemical hope on wings-
hung in the ripening hayfield
gaudy with your brothers

in the old search. No one wants
to be alone. And when caught
like moonlight in my palms, your
neon sonnet

never stops. 'Here' you tell me.
Tell my hands, the night-
'Here I am. Come
find me. Here. I am.'

.

If a firefly could speak this is exactly what
I'd imagine it would say.

Delightful poetry. I can just picture that firefly grinning up at you while in your hand.

One of nature's beautiful mysteries.
I love this and how you've captured what so many of us have done.

OMG (first time I use this ) This is beyond beautiful, it makes me shed tears of emotion ... for even the tiny light of a firefly is a perfect reflection of the "I AM".

Overwhelmingly wondrous.

Margherita
