Seasons of the Heart

Fed by life- giving rain
Rebirth by sun combined
Awake from dormant sleep
Blood pulsing through the heart
All nature’s touched by spring

As one sharing the stars
Walking on forest path
Warmed golden by the sun
Lazy days to embrace
Growing close through summer

Kiss under harvest moon
Reds and orange light passion
Sharing loves pure bounty
Thankful hearts are grateful
Romance sings in autumn

Flakes of snow touch the face
Landscape of crystal white
Evening falls silent
Long nights before a fire
Know magic in winter

Love blossoms in the Spring
Love shares Summer solstice
Love joins Autumn harvest
Loves fulfilled in Winter
Loves’ Seasons of the Heart

The rain, the sun, the stars and the moon all combined with the heartbeat of an awesome (hate that word, but sometimes it works) poet who combines the elements and human emotion as good as I have ever seen.

Thanks Jerry...I have to say that I was inspired by secondhanddreampoet's "Seasons of the Mind"...He weaves such intellectually perfect visions that I feel a great desire to put the visions he gives into my words...*BIG HUGS*

Fine writing this, we never experience snow in winter, however Summer's and Spring are very loud. Beautiful emotions and descriptive writing.
