We're both into nature this morning, Alison, and I love this beauty of yours.

Ahhhh!  My spirit just took flight.  Something about the reflections on the water... and quiet is like an elixir.  Thank you, Alison!  *squeeze*

I have a cousin in Fairbanks.  He posts some of the most beautiful photos. I hope summer is this easy on your heart, every day.  I've been wanting to go down by the ocean for a while, but the rain has been persistent...may drive out to the harbor, anyway.

Alison
You live in an area that is full of nature's wonders. Where watersheds still exist and the natural cycles of nature are supporting each other. Most of the world has destroyed too many of those things.

Beautiful words, scene and perfect poetic connection.

It is sixteen thousand degrees Celciuss in the SHADE.  In fact I fear that the terrible heat, by magical transport, will come through this post from my computer to Ali's comuter and freak out the cats and set everything on fire, also by magical transport So maybe I better go sit by the air conditon

How poignantly beautiful this is, dear Alison. And I learned a new word, thank you! "to preen" ... I love your use of it.

Hugs.
