The photographer
Aimed his camera out the window,
Trying to catch the perfect view.
He was in the room where he had made
Tumultuous, passionate love to the woman watching him
For most of the day.
The photographer took hundreds of pictures,
But not one of the woman he had made love to.

Ah....some things belong to the memory, alone.

Enjoyed, Jerry!

The trouble is that memories pile up and can sometimes bury the special ones.  I do, however, appreciate the sentiment expressed in your poem.  The photographer did indeed at the time think he'd never forget but I wonder ...

Actually, Helen, in my thoughts as I wrote the poem was that he had exhausted the pleasure of her flesh and was no longer interested in her. It happens.
