Soakin' In the Pacific Ocean

One of Pippi's favorite delites
was walking on Waikiki Beach
late at night to take a dip
in the ocean that was nippin'
at her suntan lotion.
She enjoyed swimming sans her suit
and should you chance to run upon
her one of those nights you would
say she was quite a sight,
wearing the pigtails and an
ear to ear smile, she made
many a lonely surfer smile.
When Murph wasn't around in town
Pippi had a habit of flirting around,
which was fine with Murph because
his real love was the surf.
On occasion Murph would jump
into his thirty four Woody
and cruise to the North Shore
to ride the big waves and to
pay a vist to a sexy mermaid
from France named Ms L'amour.
Speaking of mermaids, Pippi knew
quite a few and somenights they
would swim with her and some
other friends that Pippi knew;
like Cindy and Kimo: exactly where
Kimo lived nobody seemed to know,
no matter what beach you visited
in Hawaii, Kimo would always show.
His nickname was "surf around" and
indeed he did, all over town.
Cindy worked at some local clubs
the live entertainment kind and
her nickname was "mighty fine"
and indeed she was fine.
She would mostly come to the beach
during the day to work on her tan
but sometimes she took Sundays off
so she could hang out with surfer Dan.
The common attraction was the love
of swimming, surfing and soakin'
in the warm water of the Pacific Ocean.
The water was so warm it was a blessing,
almost as good as soaking in a hot tub
and after a good float and soak
you felt like a brand new bloak.
Then it was time to eat some of
the local treats, like pineapple
and papaya, or mango's, coconuts
and banana's and the locals favorite
fish Ahi or Swordfish or Mahi Mahi.
After that its time to get some sleep.
and Pippi slowly falls off to sleep
by counting mermaids, not sheep.

Wow.  Quite a little tale there.  Love the characters... you should elaborate on them a little more.  Maybe even drum up a prose piece for us.

Perhaps I take the pacific ocean for granted, or maybe it's my fear of sharks....O.o...but when I do venture out into the pacific ocean, it is wonderful. Enjoyed.
