           Wilderness and Love


Beneath a deep infinity
of white clouds dancing
  in an azure sea,
and amid these mist-wrapped
spectral rocks and trees
on this magnificent morn in Spring,
there is only peace, serenity,
joy, and freedom in a fine elixir
  of timelessness.
Here in the wilderness,
where a thousand paths
never reach the world,
sunlight lingers in the pines
to dance with shadows, thoughts,
and endless dreams ... of love.

Another simply outstanding piece of work from the master of love and environmentally strong poetry. These line "Here in the wilderness, / where a thousand paths / never reach the world," reached out and grabbed me. You are shining brightly these days, Bruce.

Nature can be so infinitely soothing at times.... I feel that in this blue sky poem with an evergreen soul. Some gifts are absolutely priceless in the balances of being.
