Today
I will think
About someone
At fifty-nine

That summer girl
Who tried to kill herself
Three times before
She was twenty-two

No mist or tear
Will come to my eye
The world around me
Will not notice as I retire

To the shore of a sea
Blue as the sky is blue

Watching the horizon
For one little star
