A forever measured in months
Heartbreak heals on its own time
Everyday I thought about her
And everyday she thought about me
Confused in her own little world
About what the status of us would be

Love has a dark sense of humor
I went from being tossed away like trash
To being reclaimed like a lottery ticket blown away
By the winds of unpredictability

I love her
She loves me
I hope she can get it together this time
I want to be with her until I am no more
Many nights I dreamed about the love of my life
Walking back through that door

Dreams do come true

Love and its yo-yo effect, Street Poet. Hope it catches this time.
