Living in the Land of Foolish Dreams

When plans fail,
realize...
that it takes two
to tango
and if one
participant
is a slacker
and the other
tries too hard
hoping they can
make things happen,
thats not hope,
thats not love,
thats living
in the land
of foolish dreams.

Yes it is James, but it is something we have all fallen into during our love affairs and non-love affairs. Took me many years to reach this conclusion, sometimes it is better to just stand aside and quit pushing so hard and let them come to you. If they don't come to you, nothing in the world you would have said would have ever made a difference.

*sigh* I read this poem over and over letting myself weep for the truth of it...I am a dreamer and many time a foolish dreamer...your words go deep telling me the truth of reality...Powerful writing...*BIG HUGS*

*may our dreams ever be magical*
