I saw your face and I was stunned,
Was beguiled by your words;
From face to words you looked like fun,
We met, your voice I heard.

Seven months have come and they have gone,
We shared good times, we laughed:
Oh my yes, we were surely drawn,
We listed high on love’s graph.

Now the sunset seems to have set,
Like mist of summers rain:
There is a real and growing threat,
We will not meet again.

Man! There's some great blues lines in this one.....smile.....you know me and the blues.

Great writing once again Jerry and a fine concise look at the spinning love life that circles everywhere.

Appreciate your observation, Eric. The best writing, I have heard comes from a broken heart.

Oh I don't know about that Jerry.
The best writing comes from happiness and the blues two different dimensions.
You are very good at what you do and I hope you write a best seller it's only a pen stroke away.

Oh, I've given up a long time ago on writing a best seller, Eric, I am merely trying to keep my sanity, what little of it I have left . . .
