Tornado Watch

It finally hit us
and where was yours truly
sleeping on dream island
not one flash did I see

This morning I was told
that I couldn’t have missed
the roll of thunders might
and the pinging of hail

I looked at them confused
asking why didn’t they
shake me awake to see
to which they all replied

They thought I’d be upset
to be woken so late
and they thought I was up
thunder shook the building

I’ve waited and waited
for a good storm to hit
Wait what does the news say
We’re Under Tornado Watch

You can bet I will be up for the storm because
Taber is right in the middle of the red zone.

*may our dreams ever be magical*

Hope it doesn't get anywhere near you, Karen. I didn't know they had tornadoes in Canada.

Oh yes we do...they sneek in from Montana...we are just an hour over the border...it isn't anything like the amount you get in the US...I hope we don't get a tornado...but I really want the storm that goes with it...Here in Alberta we don't get many...I look out my window and see the clouds building...*sigh* with my luck we won't get the storm...it will follow the River...*BIG HUGS*

*may our dreams ever be magical*

There is indeed fascination in a storm and I understand your desire to watch it. You express this well!

I am so sorry for the trees ... hopefully no more damage will be caused!

Hugs.

You'll have to make your desire to be awakened when a storm is coming very clear from now on.
Interesting line of thought except for the tornado.
Take care and keep up the wish.
Well done!
