.

On the Calumet River
Just south and two miles
From the house of the girl
I will later come to love
My father and I are fishing

The brown water flows
And swirls  The trees
Heavy with leaves cast
Their shadows

We will be here
The whole day and night
Among weeds bugs the
Heat rising

Without words
Casting our lines
Waiting for nothing
My father and I
Together

And above our heads
On an old iron bridge
A train is passing

I really loved this..
Warm feelings, and memories..

Although I'm a sea angler myself. ;-)
But sitting on the shore.. with a companion..
You don't have to say a word..
Its one of the few times in your life..
Where you can have company.. but shut the **** up and enjoy the sounds of the world,

Great imagery, this inspires wonderful feelings.

Never forget those times, they sound like some of the best.

Thank you for sharing.

It's not easy being evil, in a world gone to hell.
