you were casual with your proper intrusions showing me photos you cut out of life and claimed as your very own afterwards while shopping for snowshoes for goldfish you said they were coy about their style but you knew best what they needed as you had lived without what you wanted longer than you had lived with contentment and he never was very sincere, you said even though he was there all the time and didn't even pretend to see through you when you stood in front of the sunrises daring him to mention how damp your dawn was ____________ daark |

This makes me think of a sad little housewife; you know, the ones that have become less of a woman and more of a fixture. There's always someone that will come around and show them what they're missing though. Kinda sad, like Bridges of Madison County, sad. (contrary to how many times I used the word, I am not, sad)   |
