she was just shimmer jean in her sun down gown
with the bosom valley swell, all wet between
creole mountains with sugar swear glowin' slick

said she had way more husbands than children
married them for the cakes and whiskey feeds
not for the money trees or lovey songs they sung

she made me coffee in her cypress side crock
used the bad water from down at tear hollow
and some chicory root she never put wash on

just pushed it in nasty deep and heated healthy
made moan sounds in her belly when she sipped
but she stayed around all night with her hungry on

lickin' puppies on their noses to make them sneeze

daark

Love the images this evokes, especially that last line.
