I spied them there upon the ground,
Making not a wisp of sound,
I ask of them, "Cannot you speak?
"Of what it is that you do seek?"
No reply from them forthcoming,
To me it seemed quite unbecoming,
It was as if they did not care,
That I was talking with them there,
Then came a breeze and they all scattered,
As if I never really mattered.

Yeah, Tim, there are those who leave with the wind, maybe you approached them wrong. Or maybe it was just time for them to leaf.

I really liked this Tim.  I think it reminds me a bit of myself, always be the odd man out and having the circle scatter each time I aprroach it.  Intriguing words.

I guess 'Gone with the Wind' was taken as a title?

Whatever you encountered was awed in your presence and left to regroup I'm sure!

Lovely poem..
