2 years and I had written in romantic delusion
a momentary lapse of reason
though the blinders were closed, I was never truly blind
Love and hope, that merely "petered out"

2 years of the month of May
"Maj" as Karel wrought, err, wrote

Ah tragedy, nay, wait! tragedy?
The Month of May Trilogy has turned to..
Ahh victory, yay! sweet victory

to the promise of a brighter future
of a love and lovers MORE pronounced!

A Flight, Flee this land
and shake, shirk, scruff, scrap, scrape
off
the dust of this place.

Though it is never, nor not a sure thing
the coming weeks will say.

And what of this place?
What will come?
Its easy to see
folly and the weapful reaping of their own seed.

Greed! Selfishness! Lust!
These and thus
Laska defined is Love, without trust!

But fear not, that is only half of the tale
Economic treason and a country for sale.
Weep, Reap, your votes and what your hands have sown
With Bloated Ballot, you've built a new yet rundown modern day Rome!

A Senate, ah Senate, rape by the dozen
sell your judgeship and judgement for cash
to a friend, the highest bidder or to your cousin!

True, sad said truth and more much more
Bribes, as witnessed, with my own eyes
ears, I hear, doth heard
the wealthy folly and reap tears

A Bloating Boasting pawn of a rich man
can't hold his tongue
government contracts for unneeded Post Offices
Distributes Distribution Warehouses
$$$, Waste by the ton!

And as for the people...
Revolution will come
as the local wealthy sell out
stash their fortune... and RUN

you can hear the rumors, now on the streets
protesters in vans, blasting music, national anthem
and banners for the span.

Choppers circle overhead
lazy cheap police paid at $1000 per month
stand on the corners doing nothing
as if the public has the courage to be Just!

these are the warning signs
there will be change
should/would/could, no, the modal is MUST!

The working class pay higher taxes
seeing wages cut 10-20%,
salaries eaten
by the economic masses

all to protect upper middle management with...
Money to wipe their asses.

So, sip, swallow, spit or chew
this is the hand dealt by you.

For the family, HAH! family
as if you knew
70% divorce rate
and new marriages are few

Men cheat and women run
looking for husbands,
selling sex for money
or just for fun.

Friends Friends, lets all be friends
multiple partners, hoping to land one
wins.

But men are cheap and the women cheaper
suicides amount, domestic abuse and the grim reaper.
Pedophiles run free, if a legal 15 year old isn't eager
try the choir 13, lose your job, drive a taxi, if its easier.

Ah Prague, sweet Praha
Czech it out
your tourist profile for sex tourism astounds
this is your freedom, this is what you've made of yourself.

Communism Collapsed
this is what you bought
with your Capitalist Clout!

A God fearing nation?
No, its a God vacant sensation
enjoy your revolution
and your destruction

by/with, and for your pork eating snouts.

But this is not to say...
I must admit, I still love this land, its beauty
in all its disarray

But needless to say,
it may be time to leave
Love beckons me onward...
and I'm afraid, dear Praha,

Come Hell and High Water
Come What May
God and Man Fear Your Future
as for me...

There are Greener Pastures
and I cannot stay.

Well Kenneth you sure have cut right into the core of the whole scene and exposed the truth.
It would be hard for me to argue with you on most of what you've written.
I'm assuming you're paralleling it with the States?

Many many things to consider in these troublesome times. Like you say change is a MUST but is it possible??? That's the trillion dollar bailout question.

Good write!
