Lumpy oatmeal makes me crazy!

0 posted 2012-05-05 05:10 PM

As I cleaned my bathroom,
scrubbing the floor
on hands and knees,
I realized

I miss you all

so I opened the door,
peeked in, left a note
or two (and one run-on
sentence) and now am off
to clean my kitchen

thinking of poetry
and you.

I SAW the note on the sticky cheese poem...

and I love it that you left us one!

Hello, Love, Goodbye till later...it's coming upon the good time of year for you to get outside, Outside, OUTSIDE.....

but we will be here when you return!

Cleaning the grime away
Save it for another day
We miss you at the Blue Room
Notably at last night's full moon.

Thank you for the note.
Hope you're all thawed out for a while.
Beautiful up there and this is a nice thought.
Don't need those knee pads on to write some of those Aurora Borealis fanciful thought evoking Alaskan tales you always came up with.

Write on!

WOW! Been wondering about you ... been missing you ... but don't let me interrupt the cleaning... don't want us all to clean at the same time, so you just keep right on and I'll wait ... wait ...,

I'm looking in between cleaning closets. Must be that spring thing.

Beloved Alison is back! You were so intensely missed too.

Really? On your hand and on your knees? Wow. And then you keep the doors closed I guess, because some of your sweet cats and dogs would surely enjoy the perfect cleanness of the bathroom or kitchen floor to make it their favorite sleeping place. Zelda adores to roll on the freshly cleaned floor, if it is has been cleaned with her favorite polish.

Thank you for this delightful poem!

Love and hugs.

Thank you all for the warm welcome "home".  Poetry has kind of taken a back burner lately - haven't been writing or even reading much.  But, it is good to be here among you - so good.

I was vacuuming stuff of the kitchen floor and the vacuum suddenly began growling and smoking, because it tried to suck up a plastic grocery bag I didn't know was there because it was under the kitchen table and my knees don't like going under tables and behind furniture.  But someone knows more how to open the vacuum and get the plastic bag out of it so I called them.
How wonderful to see you back Ali!  and each time I go on pip I look for you.
We just did a book of poems thought it is not for sale so don't tell anybody.
SHHHHHHHHHH!
Love

Well sweet Ali?  Seems I thought some nonsense to write but then forgot.  So I had dinner and took my meds and now await the caress of sweet and geltn sleep

Hon, if you're gonna waste poetry time cleaning bathrooms, come clean mine! LOL

I've been away a bit myself... though nothing as constructive as cleaning. LOL And seeing your name is a welcome sight... Take care of you and come back when you can!

Cleaning kitchens is highly overrated.  Me thinks maybe one should examine their priorities.     We miss you, too.  Thanks for checking in.
