             The Joy of Now

Here in these magic mountain forests,
beneath a vast dome of star field
  splendor,
the voice of Spring whispers of
eternal transience and change
to a warmly gentle evening breeze
spinning Deep-Time tapestries
from  the moonbeam shadows
and our finest memories and dreams
of all that has slipped into the past
and all which might yet be
but cannot last …
beyond the joy of ‘now.'

Beautiful visions flows from your pen...you bring the montains to life...This part feels sad
"and all which might yet be
but cannot last …
beyond the joy of ‘now.'"
I have a deep hope that some things can last forever...Brilliant writing...

*may our dreams ever be magical*

Can there still be the joy of now, today and
tomorrow?.... I sure hope so.
Enjoyed your poem Dreampoet.

You use your familiar surroundings so effectively in your poetry, almost, if not all, of your postings give the reader yet one more view of your beautiful landscape and personal pride

Absolutely wonderful...
You, sir, are truly talented

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, "WHAT A RIDE

You create such a beautiful "now", Bruce that now becomes enough.

hi bruce, i share the deep philosophy of your poem, the consciousness of the beauty of the world is a necssary step for mankind to go forward, thanks a lot

Even existence itself is finite..
Live in the moment.

Loved it.
