          Resplendent Love

Here, on this edge of wilderness
the night wind whispers to silent
shadows and the deep-forest moon,
in its fine-velvet cloak of stars,
wondrous secrets of a boundless
cosmos and immortal time.
So brief lies our journey between
past and future misty shores
of endless change and infinite
  uncertainty,
yet oh what joy lives ...
perhaps only in this moment,
if we can but shine and
illuminate the universe
with real and resplendent love.

What comes to mind is tender, delicate poetry, took me away to a peaceful, place. I could feel myself looking at the picture you portrayed in awe like i discovered something so signifigant in something we take for granted, the moon and stars. Lovely, as i enjoy all your writings. Thank you for sharing this.

I lay on my back in a field looking up at the stars and watch your words come to life...magnificent...one cannot stay anchored to the earth when soaring among the stars...I love this poem...
