Spring in the Valley I

A sick cherry tree
Blossoms in preparation;
South winds have returned.

Ah, the time when beautiful aspects of nature spring to life.
I can smell it.

Waited to reply because I was hoping for enlightenment without showing my stupidity, but although I basically agree with all the comments, the first line throws me and I don't understand the fit with the rest, unless it's just that spring is going to cure it's ailment, sick not truly meaning sick....

"A sick cherry tree"

I think what the point is simply that even when in nature when plants and animals sense the end of winter, they celebrate so why cant we celibrate the good even when we are worn down.
