      Thoughts and Dreams

Here in these ancient forests
and mountains of ‘Deep-Time’
there is only the soft song
of the night wind through trees
  and moonlit shadows
that dance with our memories
  of love and loss.
For the silent, wandering heart
beneath a vast-eternal sky
of endless clouds and stars
in the far-wide universe ...
what price could ever be placed
on a night such as this or
even the smallest thoughts
and dreams of a lovely lady
such as you?

Beautiful poetic ponderings, dear Bruce.
All the magnificence of Nature is free for us to enjoy and so is Love. Priceless indeed!

What a marvelous wordplay you have assembled here, Bruce. Tying in the earth, universe, et al, with the loveliness of the lady. Y-e-s-s-s

This is beautiful, and so very sweet.  It is like writing a poem on an inhale, and exhale.  (probably doesn't make sense haha but it does to me!)
