Fields of Green

Sunlight slivers edge
Of lush green rippling waves
Soon golden ripe wheat

Before it becomes "amber waves of grain"
we have seas of deep green. The mild winter and early warm weather has the wheat a month ahead of schedule and it has already begun to head out. Harvest will probably begin in May rather than June.  Thanks Guys!

I've never seen wheat fields in person. I would love to. I imagine it is a beautiful sight.
