Fair to middlin' of nowhere

The time of year when
spring’s beauty is beguiling
and warm days foreshadow
summer’s searing heat
Cold and warm air masses
collide and compete
for dominance of the skies
Their fury whirls descending
dancing destruction pirouettes
in tutus of debris
Leaping here and there
hit and miss catastrophes
striking tornado alley

Absolutely. You gave us springs' beauty before the storm.

Thanks Margherita, I wrote this the day after there were over 100 tornadoes  in one day in Kansas.
