            Eternal Spring

An astonishing clarity and fragrant
   peace
chase wisps of ephemeral mist
through this fine, deep-spring
   morning meadow,
as they skirt the edge of
a vanishing wilderness.
Here is Nature's gentle, lambent
   truth
far too precious to squander.
Would that this lovely moment
   out of Time ...
could last forever!

Ah, you remind me of a morning I witnessed in Georgia once.  Beauty, trees, and mist.  Thank you.

You pain a vintage picture with you descriptive words, Bruce. You always do. I am always grateful.

Yes, if only it could last forever, Bruce.
I believe our words last forever...that's a start.
