lace up her heart
even as you unzip her thoughts
brush your shiny crowns
be ready for her baubles of fondle
hug-nuzzle her mountains and valleys
her engorged metaphors
smell the earth woman
amid unknown curls
dripping with heaven sent
this extraordinary
layer of unforgettable fire-in-the-belly
you would leave home for
turn well to your worn-out phrases
and rest your seeking in her comfort zone
