A 'Typical Male' Valentine's Day Poem Writing to you on this day for lovers Not mentioning all our adventures on top of the covers Just a few lines to make ya laugh Double ya over and fold ya in half Goin' on with my badself, bustin' these rhymes Lookin' back over the days at all the great times As I'm writing these words to fill your eyes I think to myself, "Babe you're a prize!" I'm not much for words, as you'll come to know I like makin' love...sometimes fast...sometimes slow I like other things too when I have money Even better than those is spending time with you, honey I'm sitting here laughing as I write each word Knowing when you read this, you'll call me a "turd" I'm thinkin' more lines to put on this paper Cuz I've gotten myself into a helluva caper This poetry stuff is harder than I thought And it's pretty obvious...a poet I'm not Putting words on paper for me is complex Cuz like a typical male, all I'm thinkin' 'bout is sex I know you're ALL woman, so this probably won't impress ya But all I wanna do right now is kiss & undress ya I'm not quite done, so babe don't you fret My mind's pretty quick.....on this you can bet I'm tryin' to stay sweet and keep this filled with humor Cuz I don't wanna bore ya and give ya a tumor Valentine's Day is supposed to be special But most typical males just feed ya some bull We say nice words, buy ya candy and flowers That don't last long.....not even two hours In some areas though, I'm not like "every other man" And to help you see this, I'm gonna do all I can Cuz I like what we have and I hope you do too Even though you're thinking of hitting me with a shoe Filling this last page is boggling my mind But babe let me tell ya, "You're one of a kind!" I really dig your beauty.....and all your qualities too Cuz looking on the inside.....that's what I do Just two more lines after these then I'll go Cuz you're probably already thinking of me as a Schmoe Now with this last line, I will end this tale And hope for sex after you read it.....just like a typical male My Original Poetry |
